Job Summary:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress and Selenium to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating robust test automation frameworks, executing API and UI automation, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across projects. The role also requires experience in reporting, CI/CD integration, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, including both UI and API test automation.
Build and execute tests using frameworks such as JUnit/Mocha and generate reports with Allure.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.
Execute automated test suites, monitor CI runs, analyze results, and resolve failures.
Contribute to maintaining scalable, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure adequate coverage.
Document test procedures, execution results, and defects in a clear and structured format.
Provide daytime support and alignment with other external automation resources as required.
Stay up to date with test automation best practices and emerging tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software QA and automation testing.
Proficiency with Cypress for both UI and API test automation.
Hands-on experience with JUnit or Mocha frameworks and Allure reporting.
Strong knowledge of CI execution and integration using DevOps pipelines.
Proficiency in JavaScript, with additional experience in Python or Java a plus.
Experience with Selenium for web automation.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with distributed teams.
Ability to support daytime activities and align with global QA teams.
