Job Description:
The UX/UI Designer balances user-centered research and intuitive, visually polished interface design. This role flexes between UX research and UI design execution based on project needs and works closely with product and engineering partners to ground decisions in data and user feedback. The Product Designer will contribute to design system development and collaborate across teams to deliver thoughtful, scalable, and effective product experiences.
Duties:
Shift fluidly between UX research and UI design based on project needs, contributing effectively to all phases of the product development lifecycle.
Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather actionable insights that inform design decisions.
Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centered.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet business goals and user needs.
Use user feedback and analytics to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
Contribute to and maintain a design system that supports consistency and scalability across the product.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with demonstrated strength in both user research and visual design.
Proficient in Figma; experience with design systems and component libraries.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams in agile environments.
Creative in solving design challenges, with an understanding of how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Experience working with or contributing to a design system to maintain consistency and scalability across platforms.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates both UI design and UX research skills, with clear examples of user-centered design solutions
Experience with FigJam, Miro or similar collaboration tools and Jira.
Experience in agile environments and working closely with development teams to iterate on designs
Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar and Mixpanel) to inform design decisions (preferred).
